Dr. P. Chockalingam is a Mechanical Engineer and working in Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Multimedia University (MMU) Malaysia. I hold a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India, an M.E. in Production Engineering from Anna University, India, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Multimedia University, Malaysia. My research interests in Manufacturing, Machining, Surface Finishing, Microwave Cladding, Additive Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Laser Cutting and digital twins.As a dedicated researcher, I take pride in my contributions, which include the publication of many articles in esteemed international peer-reviewed journals, boasting impressive citation scores. Actively engaged in securing research grants, I have played a vital role in advancing knowledge in my areas of expertise. My professional journey has taken me through academic institutions in both Malaysia and India, where I have served in various administrative capacities.One aspect where I've invested a lot of my energy is in transforming the way we teach and learn. I'm a strong advocate for the use of blended learning tools like Open Learning, Google Classroom, Edpuzzle, Kahoot, and video lectures. These tools have revolutionized the educational landscape, making learning more interactive and accessible, and I am excited about the potential they offer.My affiliations with professional bodies, including the Indian Society for Technical Education and the International Association of Engineers, Malaysian Board of Technologist among others, have provided me with a robust network of colleagues and resources, which I believe can be valuable for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
